"Any time you want. Promise." It's an easy promise to make; Alec enjoys that it's so easy to be around Magnus. Sure the warlock flusters him more than not and certainly it hasn't been easy for them to get here but being here like this, together, just feels so right.

He shifts onto a hip as his hands work down to Magnus' waist, still rubbing and soothing but also trying to just be present. It's something Magnus does for him too, just touches him from time to time for no reason other than to say I'm here. "I love you, Magnus Bane," he murmurs before leaning in to kiss his lover's shoulder. "I love you."
