WISH: Magnus's wish is to reverse the moment when Valentine activated the Soul Sword and killed dozens of Downworlders. While he had originally been looking only for a way to stop Valentine before more people lose their lives, Magnus now wants to reverse all the lives already lost. It's not his fault so many Downworlders died, in fact if he'd stayed around he would have been one of them, and so would the warlock child he'd rescued, but if he can keep that tragedy from occurring, or he can bring them back, he's going to.

FIT: Magnus will go out of his way to help someone in need, even if it's difficult for him, even if it's dangerous, even if it's an enemy. He's lived a long time, and in the course of his life he's helped vampires, werewolves, especially young warlocks, but any Downworlder he runs across that's in need will almost certainly find assistance. He's a sympathetic ear, a therapist, a shoulder to cry on, neutral ground, an ally, a negotiator. He wants to keep people safe. Finding a city where doing good deeds means generating energy? It's a fantastic idea.

Finding a city where acts of intimacy generate energy? He might never want to leave.

CONSENT: Magnus doesn't do things for people without asking, let alone doing things to people without their consent. When he was convinced that Alec was making a mistake in getting married and tried to convince him not to go through with it, Alec insisted and he let him go. He's persuasive, sometimes he pushes, but he'll always respect someone's boundaries. Magnus has the ability to read thoughts and extract memories with contact, but invading someone's mind without their consent would be just as unthinkable to him.

POWERS/ABILITIES:
• Immortality: As a warlock, half human and half demon, Magnus is immortal. He stopped aging at 30 and hasn't changed in appearance since then.
• Magic: Magnus has innate magical abilities that he's spent centuries refining. His method of casting is flamboyant, his magic often manifesting as colored flames and smoke. He is capable of casting protective warding spells, defensive and offensive spells in battle, reading minds and extracting memories with contact, healing, and performing summoning rituals. He can also conjure almost any object, either borrowed from another location or created from nothing, and open portals between locations, provided he's been to the location before. While he's one of the most powerful warlocks in the world, his magic does have limits and he can run out of magic if he's been casting constantly for several hours, for example maintaining a healing spell or opening several portals. He also has golden cat's eyes, his warlock mark that he keeps hidden most of the time. (Note: if Magnus's magic needs to be nerfed during his stay that's fine!)
